Root Electric Services is expanding into the HVAC industry under the banner of Root Electric, Heating and Air. We’ve invested significantly in technology and tools, including:

• CRM software to manage service agreements and enhance customer relationships.
• A well-established marketing system to boost our HVAC services.
• Our newly acquired shop, conveniently located near major routes (Interstate 95, Route 1, Route 123, Fairfax County Parkway), ensures quick access to customers in Prince William, Fairfax, Arlington, and Alexandria.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are seeking a Licensed Master HVAC Technician who is:

• Experienced in selling, installing, and maintaining HVAC equipment, with a focus on forced air gas furnaces and heat pumps.
• Dedicated to a strong work ethic and superior communication skills.
• Committed to treating fellow employees and customers with honesty, respect, and goodwill.
• Certified with a NATE (North American Technician Excellence) certification.
• Certified with a CFC (Chlorofluorocarbon) certification for proper handling of refrigerants.
• Licensed gas fitter with proven expertise in the safe installation and maintenance of gas systems.

What We Expect of You

As a ground-level team member, you’ll help us build the HVAC division from the ground up, with opportunities to grow into supervisory and managerial roles.

Initial Responsibilities:

• Act as a service tech, sales representative, and jobsite foreman.
• Work closely with the warehouse superintendent to manage and store materials.
• Document processes for scaling the role as the business grows.

Expectations:

• Be prepared to work longer than 40 hours per week in the first year.
• Ethically manage customer service situations to uphold our stellar reputation.
• Help lay the groundwork for a scalable and efficient HVAC team.
